Once the post itself has leaked, an inappropriate atom:id is the least of your problems. For someone to see your incriminating id they'd have to be looking at the source of the feed. And if they're that keen to find something incriminating, there's a good chance they would have logged the original post.

Anyone that thinks tombstones (in any form) can be used to destroy evidence of misposts is going to be sorely disappointed. They're a convenience for the reader not the author. The author gets to say: 'I don't think you should waste your time reading this post', but it's ultimately the reader's decision to follow that recommendation.
