Ok, that makes sense. I definitely slept through that section. I slept
through pretty much anything to do with "external" in the XML spec too.
(also note that RFC3023 doesn't prohibit the use of +xml for external
parsed entities that are not documents)
This is the bit that really confused me, since I thought I was awake then. I
guess I was thrown by the 15 occurrences of the phrase "XML document" in
section 7, when they really meant any old XML entity. I should have been
paying closer attention.
