The version of lirc which is broken is the x86_64. Either F8 or F9. liblirc_client0 and lirc-devel rpms are empty (size of 5.4 KB instead of 17KB). The i386 version seems to be fine (but I do not use i386). Certainly, Axel will rebuild the broken rpms. If you are using the i386 version of lirc, check which lirc is being used: rpm -qa | grep lirc Then, check the configuration files: /etc/sysconfig/lircd /etc/lircd.conf Restart lirc: sudo /etc/rc.d/init.d/lircd restart -- Paulo Roma Cavalcanti LCG - UFRJ
