Noticed that updating the kernel to 2.6.25 with F8 doesn't include new kmdls for Fuse or nVidia 96xx legacy drivers?Any idea on when/if such updates will be available? If not available, any workarounds?
I am using F9.It appears that the fuse functionality, at least for the fuse-sshfs is now built into the 2.6.25 kernel. I had to exclude fuse* from the atrpms file in /etc/yum/repos.d
exclude=fuse* Then I was able to load fuse & fuse-sshfs from fedora & updates. I didn't & do not have the kmdl for fuse loaded. As for the nvidia, they need to be patched for the 2.6.25+ kernels, see http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=110088 Do not know if there are plans to maintain two different rpms for those. Hope that helps. -- Brian Millett - [ Walker Smith (to Garibaldi), "TKO"] "Watch your back."
