Axel, thanks. THis looks promising, but before I do it, 2 questions:
1) I am not using a 64 bit CPU so I think I need the i386 release, but
I am not seeing this rpm in that
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/12/Everything/i386/os/Packages.
I assume I can't just use the x86_64 stuff.
2) Can I safely do this going from Fedora 10 to Fedora 12 (i.e.,
skipping Fedora 11)?
I am downloading a DVD image just in case, so not a big deal, but nice
to know how to keep my system updated for future uses.

Note the Fedora 12 upgrade notes do say that F10 -> F12 is a supported upgrade
path..
I have personally done this from FC4->FC6->FC8->F10..
Some people seem to use the Yum upgrade method, where as I have always used the Install
from CD/DVD method..
I'm not sure what the DVD upgrade does, I presume some sort of rpm --force install of all
the F12 packages..
