I;ve used apt/yum/smart to cross-grade from RHEL systems to Fedora and vice verse, so it will be possible. The question is how much effort it would be and how many other have tried this upgrade path to share common pitfalls (if there are any). All I can say is that the F11->F12 yum upgrade path was the smoothest until now, and F10->F11 wasn;t that painful either, so F10->F12 has good chances of succeeding, but having the install/rescue DVD handy for plan B is not a dumb thing to do. :) -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
