Tried doing everything I can I need a new kmdl built and just keep getting same errors as below
I followed the guide http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/LCG_kernel_modules.html on the first attempt like it says I get ./bkmdl.sh 2.6.32.9-64.fc12 nvidia-graphics190.53-190.53-120.src.rpm 0 1 -> Compat32 installation chroot is: '(null)' -> Compat32 installation prefix (only under rare circumstances should this be changed from the default) (Answer: '/usr') -> Compat32 installation prefix is: '/usr' -> Install NVIDIA's OpenGL header files? (Answer: Yes) -> Installation will install the OpenGL header files. -> Installing both new and classic TLS OpenGL libraries. -> Installing both new and classic TLS 32bit OpenGL libraries. -> Searching for conflicting X files: + cat /tmp/fakebin.log === fakebin called as lsmod === fakebin called as lsmod === fakebin called as lsmod === fakebin called as lsmod === fakebin called as lsmod === fakebin called as lsmod + test -z '' + exit 1 error: Bad exit status from /home/mythtv/redhat/tmp/rpm-tmp.edpOdo (%install) RPM build errors: Bad exit status from /home/mythtv/redhat/tmp/rpm-tmp.edpOdo (%install) And then just to see if the other works ./bkmdl.sh 2.6.32.9-64.fc12 nvidia-graphics190.53-190.53-120.src.rpm This one does this -> License accepted by command line option. -> Installing NVIDIA driver version 190.53. -> Skipping check for conflicting rpms. Except now there is a new error ERROR: No NVIDIA driver is currently installed; the '--kernel-module-only' option can only be used to install the NVIDIA kernel module on top of an existing driver installation. The driver is already in ATrpms site. Maybe this link can help you in the future: http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/LCG_kernel_modules.html -- Paulo Roma Cavalcanti LCG - UFRJ
