Try
yum install yum-plugin-kmdl
yum install video4linux
I had originally tried with video4linux and
video4linux-kmdl-2.6.18-164.15.1.el5 but this didn't appear to create a
/dev/video node and a modprobe hdpvr came back with a 'module not found'
error. Rather than beat my head against the wall, I figured I'd at least
find out if I was using the correct packages to support this before I delved
into the troubleshooting.
Now that I know this should work and that I'm headed in the right direction,
does anyone have any pointers as to what I can do to troubleshoot?
