From what I can tell the warning is harmless; the module has proven
stable so far in my (limited) testing. As was pointed out here

CentOS' kernels have a lot of backported code from later versions.
That's great news. I'll keep an eye out for the updated packages and report
back with my results.
I want to thank you both for all the work you've put in to maintaining this
repository. I've been using it for years and am very thankful for all the
time it has saved me.
