Could you post your channel changing script somewhere as an example? I think my best bets are to add #6602 to what I have and make sure the channel changing script has the sleep, although I am still concerned about live TV, or update to .23-fixes. I noticed that normal ATrpms mythtv is now based on .23-fixes rather than trunk, at least that is what I read from the changelog.I've heard lots of good stuff about .23-fixes. I noticed your post in Mythv | Dev " Help testing #6719". I will get my HD-PVR today and have the latest version of that other operating system in a VM under VMWare, which can effectively assign a USB device to the OS in the VM. It seems to be very effective and performance is very good, even with USB 2.0 devices. It can even play full screen 1920x1080 video in the VM with just a little jumpiness, so I can do some troubleshooting there also. If there is anything I can do to help you out, let me know.
