Thanks for your suggestion . I was under the impression that since the
gt 240 was produced using 40nm technology that it would draw very little
power . In all it should not draw more that 60 to 70W total under full
load . The gt 220 according to tomshardware is about 10w less . Anyway
it is in , I have alleviated my noise problem by going the route of an
after market cooling solution with adjustable speed 90 mm fan . It is as
quite as a mouse and temperature worst case under high load measured was
41C .
