Thanks Paulo.  Definitely not advocating holding back on ffmpeg.  Just
figured I'd post on the issue in case something had been missed or
overlooked.  I'll continue to use nuvexport with mencoder or look more
closely at the script you posted the last time this happened until
nuvexport gets updated and/or some update to ffmpeg magically fixes
things again.
