Hello Guys,
I am trying to upgrade my myth .23 to .24 from the bleeding repo on
Fedora 12 . Ran into a couple of problems : One was mythmovies , so I
removed that with rpm -e --nodeps . The second one is a missing perl
module :
[r...@localhost mythtv]# yum upgrade
Loaded plugins: allowdowngrade, changelog, dellsysidplugin2,
downloadonly, kmdl, presto, refresh-packagekit, upgrade-helper, versionlock
Setting up Upgrade Process
Resolving Dependencies
processing Dependency: perl(Date::Manip::TZ) for package:
mythweather-0.24-238_trunk_r26853.fc12.i686
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: mythweather-0.24-238_trunk_r26853.fc12.i686
(atrpms-bleeding)
Requires: perl(Date::Manip::TZ)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
** Found 1 pre-existing rpmdb problem(s), 'yum check' output follows:
mythplugins-0.23.1-239.fc12.i686 has missing requires of mythmovies
I have perl-date-manip , installed but I fear that it may be too old ,
but I do not see any newer ones for FC12:
[r...@localhost mythtv]# yum list installed | grep -i perl-date-manip
perl-Date-Manip.noarch 5.54-3.fc12
@fedora
Any body else ran into this problem ?
Best Regards
Milorad
