Does anyone know if its possible to get Compiz desktop effects working
in Ubuntu on the atv? I followed the steps to manually load the Nvidia
driver on the atv, but in order for me to enable advanced desktop
effects it requires that I install the restricted Nvidia driver. Tried
that, no display and I had to revert to the old one via ssh.

I thought 3D hardware support was available in Ubuntu for the GeForce
card in the atv? Is this just with the open source free driver?
