I followed the link Kendrick gave and it worked for me. Yes, it booted off a hard disk, not USB flash drive, but thats fine, it works.
I'm now using Ubuntu 8.04 installed from alternate (text) install CD. When it first rebooted, after it installed the screen was 720x480, Ubuntu 8.04 informed me there were drivers available from NVIDIA, I reinstalled them, and now its running on my screen 1600x1200 (using an HDMI to DVI conversion cable). I now want to create a lightweight media player box. This should be sweet. Any recommendations on any memory or cpu intensive items I can uninstall? I used the same boot.efi file that I had around from previous install attempts. -cris On Apr 27, 6:11 pm, Bill S <[email protected]> wrote: > Im not sure what your are talking about.
