I have tried to install Mythbuntu from my USB drive several times, but with no joy (USB CD install not an option). I've been using the "USB Startup Disk Creator" to get the files onto my USB key. 8.04 live CD - installation stalls at about 87% - "configuring locales" 8.04.1 live CD - installation stalls at about 87% - "configuring locales" 9.04 live CD - installation appears to complete, but I am unable to find a way to start it
I am installing Mythbuntu to /dev/sda5 (ext3), no swap partition. / dev/sda1 - /dev/sda4 are the standard Apple TV partitions. I allow the installer to attempt to install Grub to the MBR. Does anyone have the exact kexec command which can be used to start Mythbuntu 9.04 in this situation? Whatever I try just seems to lockup ATV. I feel I must be close, and plenty of others have this working, seemingly. It's very frustrating. thanks, Paul. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/atv-bootloader?hl=en -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
