Sorry, I seem to have steered this one off-topic. Do you have a time- frame you want for releasing a new version of atv-bootloader? I looked at the boot_parser code and I think I can make the necessary mods (at least from grub2 documentation, still need to try it in practice though). Is my understanding correct that boot_parser gets run on each bootup of the atv as long as patchstick=auto?
Yes, patchstick= xxxx determines which search/run stuff is doen, auot == run boot_parser which looks for linux boot bits.
