I stuck with 9.04 because, as Robert mentioned, this was the last Ubuntu version that used grub (rather than grub2). Since this was all new to me when I started, I figured that I'd start with the "tried and true". I'd like to try installing 10.04 at some point, but I'm not really sure what new features/improvements have been made to justify the effort. I think that MythVideo has been improved (which I am also using with the atv, so there is some motivation there), but I don't really think there's been many improvements to the TV watching interface itself. Hopefully, someone will correct me on this if I mistaken. If you tackle it, please let me know any lessons learned. Good luck!
