Great timing. My Myth server is running 2007-10 and my ATVs are running 2008-04. I have been following the threads about upgrading to newer versions but lacking the grub2 support was making it difficult.
If you can confirm my own remaining reservation. I believe the last time someone tried a newer version of Ubuntu they were having performance issues. I believe that both Ubuntu and Myth frontends were using more memory between the two of them. I was planning on using Mythbuntu 11.04, so this is the installer that I was going to use to setup a new ATV after upgrading the backend. If I go with Mythbuntu, then I assume I do not get the benefits of what you have done. How do people usually address this? Do we grab your image install it, then use Ubuntu's package manager to download the Myth software? I went with Mythbuntu earlier for convienence.
