Yes. > For example if there is change in preview-latex only, which requires > a new release, this will mean a new AUCTeX release as well? If things come to worst, we have to branch for a release. Like all projects with parts in different flux do. >> What do people think with regard to tarballs: should we release >> preview-latex tarballs at all any more? I was just saying that I would want to stop them completely. A standalone compilation, on the other hand, is one started from within the preview directory. It leads to code/packages/documentation that makes sense even when combined with different AUCTeX versions. Uh, we already have a separate directory for extra stuff related to separate releases. The main tarballs are different though: pretty much every project on ftp.gnu.org distributes them from the main directory. -- David Kastrup, Kriemhildstr. 15, 44793 Bochum _______________________________________________ auctex-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/auctex-devel
