I used the binaries provided by the GnuWin32 project.

Hm, perhaps this has changed?  A few months ago I installed the Gimp on
Windows and I don't recall having to separately download the image
libraries for GTK+.  Like this there is obviously no advantage compared
to directly downloading the libraries.

Then you'll also need to provide license texts and sources.  It would
really be a repackaging of the libraries provided by GnuWin32.

Anyway, back to the topic of this thread: I've moved the precompiled
AUCTex package for Emacs 22.1 on Windows to
<URL:ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/auctex/auctex-11.85-e22.1-msw.zip> and put a
reference to it on our home page.
