Besides what Keita said, the parser isn't able to know if the defined
macro takes key-val arguments, or a list of comma separated options,
etc.  I'd say we should try to set higher quality standards for the
style files we provide to users.

I wish people who use a package without a style file would reach out and
try to contribute; it is an uphill battle for AUCTeX developers (given
that not many are left over) to provide an AUCTeX style file for every
package on CTAN.
