Could you send a .po file rather than a .mo file, as that is what we use
when building Audacity?

It looks like we comfortably have at least two weeks for translation, as
there are (again) important bugs we must fix before release. The most
serious bugs are on Mac, which we have upgraded to 64 bit, and they
result from that.
Developers know it is only bug fixing from here on to release, so that
should mean we don't create new strings for translation.
