Hello,

Arigatou(Thanks) Leo Wattenberg-san for answering my previous question.

Now I have a question about handling language localization with Transifex.

I think it would be useful if an environment like Transifex is used
correctly, if not by one person, but by several people doing the
language localization.
By the way, there is one feature that is missing when using transifex
to handle mo files.
That is that comments in mo files are deleted in Transifex.
There are many comments in Audacity's Japanese mo files that were
added by previous translator. These comments were very helpful in my
translation process.

The Audacity's pot files also have comments written for the translators.
In translation work, sometimes the same word in English is expressed
differently in Japanese, whether a certain term is a command or a
description. I would like to see more comments added to such guides,
preferably for the benefit of translators. Would it be possible for
transifex to handle comments?

Perhaps this is a misguided question, arising from my ignorance of Transifex.

Regards,
Tadahisa Sugisaki, Japanese localizer
