Nope. You can take all of your demons and fuse it so you have just one demon, if you wanted to. But you won't have the highest stats, especially since each demon has a maximum stat for attack and defense, which maxes out with their level. You want to take your demons with the highest stats, and fuse the demons with lower stats into them, especially demons of the same type. But really, you're giving this game too much credit for strategy. Basically, you can fuse whatever you want, even if you're max level, and it will still allow it, even if you don't gain anything. That's the only penalty you can get, is if you don't pay attention to your demon's max level.
Dan, I'm using the 4s, and it still doesn't lag. Weird.
