Re: When is the last time anyone has read a braille book?
No, braille won't disappear. It's used for too many things. Imagine doing mathematics and science without braille. And how would kids in school learn to spell common words? And many blind musicians value braille music a lot. And I've found that reading a book in braille makes it come alive in a way that audio will never do as it allows me to connect with what I'm reading.
I am naturally a bookworm, and have only very rarely felt true joy listening to an audio book (but yes, I have felt it), so I know I'll be ready if there is no more braille eventually but I don't think it'll happen.
