Just saw this thread, and gave the game a shot.
I'm really liking this concept, great work so far!
A couple suggestions:
*Its really hard for me to tell whether I'm hitting a door straight on or on an angle, likewise moving through passages. This means that I bounce off walls a lot, and can't really map out the levels in my mind. It'd be awesome to have a "direction facing" command, or as folks here have already suggested the ability to snap directly to directions so as not to have to guess angles quite as much.
*I'd agree that the speech is a bit tough to work with, maybe consider using screen reader dll interfaces or SAPI?
Overall I think this is a really neat game, and am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
