I actually agree.
Ok I have brought the game which I have never got.
But things do come out eventually.
My life aint ruled by a game!
I could care less.
I support this dev because everything he releases is and has been good quality for the most part.
Right now griff2 is not panning some sounds right 1 is but oh well I can still play it.
True he is slow and doesn't keep to release dates but his stuff has never been of bad quality.
The strength of his stuff well.
I do feel for those that got titles that he suddenly shelved like the eric series when people had brought that.
However I prefur waiting ages for something rather than getting a lot of crappy games in a few months.
As an example look what happened with reality software.
It tried to pander to everyone's demands.
In the end the dev burnt out and started going in directions he didn't want to go in.
Its not like the other end of the stick with
james north and bavisoft either.
Stuff still comes out.
Maybe its better to not bother about dates before till they are released.
Yes in the early days I was a bitchy whiner pirating cracker bastard.
I expected things to be well there because they should.
I still do, but guess what?
I have a life outside of computers, outside of my life.
I don't have the time to fiddle anymore I don't even have the time to hack for myself.
I have several e books and game books on my hard drive ready to be listened to, sorted out either kept or killed.
I have spent loads of cash in books and other things in the cue of things when my life was not as busy.
I am struggling to get through the week's audio I am testing, I have contract work.
And when I do have some time if I am not tired or having to catch up on talking books and other things maybe.
Life changed after I left school.
My responcibilities were less and I had time
to endulge in such things as hacking, and cracking.
I could sleep all day and often did.
I could eat 30 dollars of kfc for lunch every day and often did.
I could be a total asshole and often was.
I left school over 10 years back, did uni, started gym, started having a life of sorts.
I now am contracted out to several places some pay me and some not.
I also do a lot for sonnar interactive right now.
I struggle to fit in the standard stuff I need to do to keep up to date.
As locutus says your life is over.
My old life is over and the new one well I can't find time to fit it all in.
Sometimes I have gotten so busy that I have forgot I had work till it appeared at my desk and then I realised I had work and did it.
For those at school still you like me probably thought that being an adult means you don't do school and have a nice life.
I didn't know how crazy life was in the future.
If I could tell my self t
hat my shitty helpless crappy life was something to treasure I would!
Life is the same as it always was but its complex.
Games are one thing I am not interested in full time anymore.
I for example can't spend time on any online game for any real amount of time unless I plan for that and even then.
Today is rainy and crappy so I may get some time to do something about some gamebook or so.
