Re: Nvda and console windows
no no no you don't need to do all that, lol. First thing's first, make sure report dynamic content changes is on with nvda 5, it already should be, if not, toggle that on, that's what makes it read automatic incoming text. You want to be in object review, not screen review because you don't want to get extraneous things, and you will with screen review. It should be already, but just to double check, hit NVDA numpad 1 with numlock off of course, if it says no previous review mode, well you're good to go, if it says object nav, well you're good to go again because you just switched to it, if it says document review, hit that once more.
Then you simply use 7 and 9 to go up and down the lines with numpad. Shift 7 or shift 9 to go to the top of the window or the bottom. A layout of the numpad and what each key does is to follow7, read previous line
7 and 9 reads previous and next line, 4 and 6 are [previous and next word while 1 and 3 are previo
us and next character. Down the center of the numpad does current line, word, character respectively.
What you could do is press shift numpad 7 to go to the top of the buffer, and hit numpad + which will read all until the end
