Re: port forwording question

Let's do those questions one by one:

Again, how does one know which port is assigned to which protocol?

I already said this. Each program has to define that on it's own and it needs to tell you that, because otherwise you possibly won't be able to use the program without problems.
That means, if you want to know the port of Dragon Pong, you'll have to check it's manual about how to play online. There you'll probably find the answer.
The ports below 1024 are reserved for OS purposes and e.g. Microsoft says so. You'll find several lists of important ports on the net which'll tell you which port is used in which matter, e.g. port 80 is used for HTTP, also known as the internet, means audiogames.net. Port 443 goes here too, this port is used for secure HTTP, also known as HTTPS, which is more and more common nowadays, to prevent p eople from reading the stuff you send and receive via your browser.
There are tools like Port scanners which scan a device (or internet address) for open ports. Those can actually be found on the net in form of a website too. The problem here is, that they'll just tell you which ports are actually open, but they cannot tell you which program listens on that port, because the program doesn't need to tell you this, and those port scanners don't know all of the hundreds of thousands of programs out there which use to connect to the internet or wait for programs to connect to them.

let's say that i have a ip address that is 122.543.654.88 :mp5,.43g.we?
whitch 1 is the ipv 4 address and whitch 1 is the ipv6 address?
and which 1 do i need in order to connect to play with other games?

Okay, so neither the first nor the second would be a valid address here, lol. As catertem already said, an ip v4 address consists of 32 bit integers, grouped in 4 x 8 bit digits, and 8 bit neven can contain larger integers than 255. But I guess you just invented an ip v4 address for explanation purposes, and in this case the first address 122.543.654.88 would be the ip v4 address.
Anyway, your second example doesn't look like an ip v6 address either. :mp5,.43g.we is total nonsense lol.
A valid ip v6 address looks like 2001:0db8:0a0b:12f0:0000:0000:0000:0001. Since those addresses are loads too long, it's quite common to compress the address where possible, which results in this: 2001:db8:a0b:12f0::1.
That should give you some examples to distinguish between both of the different schemes.
The purpose of ip v6 is to sooner or later replace ip v4 entirely. That includes the possibility to use ip v4 address or ip v6 address to connect to your target gaming pc to play e.g. Dragon Pong, just as you like.
But, and don't f orget to read on from here, this isn't yet the case. Internet providers usually are slow in introducing ip v6, and router developers are too. Today only a few providers introduced ip v6 yet and not all router developers seem to know of this new way of connecting each other yet. That means that it's more recommended to use ip v4 addresses as long as this doesn't change, which will take some more years.
Via Hamachi anyway it should be no problem to use the one or the other, since Hamachi takes the place of our Internet Router and/or provider, which means that it understand both quite well.
So if you're connected via Hamachi, you can choose to use either the first or the second way.
Best Regards.
