I was wondering how I trigger other side quests optional to the game. I do not want mandatory quests. I have managed to trigger the following optional side quests.
Family Legacy: Visit the Adranius Mausoleum with Gwen in your party.
Time in a Bottle: Give Stephen the Beggar 20 gold, and he will give you an empty vile.
The Good Shepherd: Offer to help the priest in the Temple of the Divine to find his missing partner.
Supply Lines: Agree to find wolf furs for the general store manager.
Test Your Metal: Agree to find iron in the mine for the blacksmith.
Stolen from the Ritch: Talk to the person guarding the gate to the mine.
You Can Lead a Horse to Water: Agree to help the rancher find her missing horse.
Horsepower: Find the fallen tree in the forest.
Trouble Sleeping: Agree to talk to Susan's husband in the tavern. Then agree to help Sam find out what is going on in one of the large bedrooms.
Reunited: Agree to free Willholm from the dungeon.
Who Framed Rogger: Agree to prove that Rogger is innocent.
A House Divided: Find and read one of the letters in one of the goblin camps.
The Exterminator: Agree to help the guards deal with the goblins in the mines.
Laying Down the Law: After completing The Exterminator quest, talk to the guard again to be directed to speak to the captain.
Finding the Founders: Agree to record the names of the city's founders in the graveyard.
Strange Bedfellows: Agree to look for Hope's friend.
Ancient Evil: Agree to help Liam destroy the amulet in the mausoleum guarded by a magical barrier.
The Slayer: After completing the quests dealing with Liam and Hope, agree to help them get rid of the vampires.
The Ties That Bind: Visit the abandoned cabin with Mathias in your party.
Pilgrimage: I cannot remember the full name right now. Visit the ancient temple with Sister Alexia in your party.
Brother's Keeper: Find and read the ranger's journal somewhere in the tree.
A Balancing Act: Simply find the prison in the tree.
Simeon's Quest: This is not the official name. I cannot remember what it is right now. Agree to help Phestis in the outlaw settlement recover three important artifacts. You cannot do this one if you make Simeon give you back the ring.
Predators and Prey: Agree to help Jonathan the hunter mark all wolf dens in the forest.
