I agree with Phil, while I'm quite into donating, your time limit seems extremely short for the amount of money your expecting to get.
If you want ￡10000, I'd personally recommend at four or five months, maybe as much as six. If you were only looking for 1000 matters might be different.
Btw, yes, you do need an amazon account for kickstarter and a credit card, they don't run through paypal which is not good unfortunately.
