our brain works with rewarding system
when ever something positiv happens, the one of the nerotransmitter called dopamine gos to an other neron and things happen after that
sorry i dont know the spellings of those words in english perfectly, but that is the basic explenation
the almost same steps happen at alkahol, or drug adictions
a verry brief example for this
most of the people gets happy when they get a like at their posts, or someone sends you a message
or the oppozit thing happens when you post something and noone likes it or sends dislikes
