An oversight on my end, as I had figured the encounters would appear in play game mode. My bad. I wonder if that had anything to do with the sound source bug, or if the unappearing sound sources were a problem with the game. I needed to use the map assist in debug mode since the plan to have panning electrical force-fields never surfaced due to the sound source bug. For one thing, I couldn't have a sound source and a barrel on the same square, or even close to it, for some reason. Would've used those as an item radar, given the barrel seems to make a sound only when walked on. This was the reason why I couldn't have panning electrical force-fields as I had planned. True, having tiles drain your health is not entirely possible without doing a event trigger, but they would've been fun nonetheless.
