As an advanced user of CM, I can give a good answer to this. The short answer is... sort of. Area creation with the MUD Grinder is... kind of accessible. I've never liked it though. The MUD Grinder itself, however, is perfectly accessible. (A warning with MUSH-Z: CoffeeMUD (and many other MUDs) do something weird with input handling where MUSHclient doesn't display to you the prompt line until you've pressed enter. I am not precisely sure how Alter Aeon or MOO gets around this problem; my solution is to do some primitive code hacks to force it to send a new-line character (\n) as well as the prompt, however this violates the entire idea of a prompt, and requires developer-level knowledge of the code. And I hae digging through CM's code... its far too convoluted for my tastes.)
