i had a similor case where i was abel to see light til, 12 or 13, but suddenly 1 day it all disappeared, I didn't felt that much terrible but I can assure you that most of the times that sort of thing passes over time 99 percent of the time.
it wouldn't be the case if say a sighted loozing their sight in a day because there were never expecting this.
but in our case, since we cant see, the light is being, some sort of an assurance for us. after some time, you will start to forget the meaning of darkness and light, it will meet somewhere in the mittle
