Re: muds with pets
I haven't played other classes extensively in GW2, so didn't know about those or at least I don't remember.
at 10 indeed it's worth it, it has one of the most unique combat systems. You still use swords and claws and whatnot, but instead of typing kick, slash, kill and such traditional commands, you do things like, rs (right hand slash,), rw (righthand whirl), etc. Usually powerful attacks require a combination of those commands. Same thing applys to casting spells. You do things like rf(right hand flip) and other gestures. A combination of those hand movements results in the spell.
Another fun thing about GW2 is the variety of ways you can customize your character's build. You have combat styles, talents and powers. I'm not going into details here, those things are more fun to experience them yourself. The classes are also really different from other muds.
Damn, I'm getting a nostalgic feeling just by describing the mud, LOL. Oh well, Time to hop on and see what's the player base like nowadays.
