It's literally as simple as this, the host leaves, the management rights of the party are transfered to the next player, why would it break the entire party if the person who created it happens to leave? It does it on local servers of course, but that's because then you are literally keeping the server up. Also, yes, ctrl enter is used to start a game. If anything else needs clearing up you can reply, but it's similar to QC Playroom or RS games, if you create a game and someone joins, then you leave, they will be the ones managing it.
