For those who don't know how to bash away the sahde, the basic technique is to hide and spring right above its head and bash bash bash. I find this thing really annoying in shagerd mine, not sure about mistral mine, since I don't have the right to mine there.

The thing is, I don't use staffs. Staffs can be wielded with one hand and lack of range defense, I just grab a one handed deasent weapon, like a broadsword. Then I get the shield, which now is crap cause I crafted it and I don't have much knowledge about leatherworking. So it just went mallform, yet still be of use.
