Putting a plant in front is usually not bad for the sound and good for the WAF. I slide my stand/speakers out from the wall when I want to do serious listening. Proper placement has lousy WAF. You really can't get any imaging or sound stage when the speaker is on a bookshelf. Of course the speakers I really want are some classic Klipshorns or some Quad or Maggies. All of which have negative scores on the WAF scale. -- Pat http://www.pfarrell.com/music/slimserver/slimsoftware.html _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
