I have a pair of NHT SuperOnes that are great. They were all the rage 10 years ago. Not sure if they even make them anymore. Also, you might want to check out Aperion (www.aperionaudio.com). Their speakers are built using 1" HDF, so they must be rock solid. If I didn't already have 4 pairs of speakers, I'd get myself a pair of those.
