Both of these links are wired and I'm using a SB1, this has nothing to do with Apple wireless anything.
If I set the bitrate limiting down to 256 then it works fine but it defeats the purpose because now I'm listening to MP3 instead of my nice crunchy lossless files! I just ordered a SB2 so I'm hoping that the big-ass buffer will lick this problem. I'll keep you posted. By the way, the reason that I don't want to put SlimServer on my server machine is that I want to use all of the iTunes integration without having to fuss with mapping this file and that directory and waving the voodoo incense over the Squeezebox to make the goddamned thing work.
