You are correct, but the woofers seem almost too small to be called woofers. I do like the high end -- seems more airy and less bright than my current speakers. If the woofers do loosen up and provide a litle more punch, I'll be pleased. I probably need to adjust the crossover on my sub, but it's behind the Christmas tree!
