Well, sort of ... if all your music has only one genre value, then yes the "include genre" feature is equivalent to an "exclude genre" as you just select everything except the one you want to avoid. However, if your music has multiple genre values this doesn't work: what I meant was the ability to say "don't play this music if genre = x", which we can't currently do. Which is why the UI says "select genres to INclude". And I appreciate the UI could be a bit clunky: you'd need to be able to specify, for each genre, one of three conditions: - don't care about this genre - track playable if this genre is set - track must not be played if this genre is set Actually, on the player UI, this could be represented by [] [+] [-] Having said all this, I can't say this is my highest priority for an enhancement, just a "would be nice if".
