Well, no need to go to Hydrogen Audio again. The answer was in EAC as a tooltip, and I was wrong.
If you mouse over the checkbox for cache in drive options EAC says: "If your device caches audio data that was just read, it would be a problem for EAC to read this data again to compare both extractions to find out if they match. IN THAT CASE THIS OPTION HAS TO BE ENABLED, SO THAT EAC WILL CLEAR THE CACHE BY OVERREADING IT. " So I sincerely apologize Mark, the coaster factory guide is still golden :) -- Skunk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2685 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=19976 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
