Can someone please tell a technical moron (me) how I should have my volumes set for best sound quality?
I'm running the digital output of the SB2 into a Benchmark DAC1, and sending the balanced outputs of the DAC1 into an integrated amp. My preference convenience-wise is to control the volume on the integrated amp. Intuition had told me to keep the volume at max on the SB2 and the DAC1, but the above discussion confuses me. -- Mike Anderson 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!'
