Those Pragmatic in wall amps look very slick, but I'd still be leery about having a heat generating electrical device hidden in a wall, faceplate or not.
Facing a similar situation (retro-fitting an amp) for my bedroom Squeezebox setup... I went with a Russound R235LS (35 watts)... http://russound.com/amplifiers.htm This amp has a reasonably small form factor with wall/cabinet mount screw holes. It also offers MULTIPLE inputs with automatic override... so my music signal automatically shuts off whenever my TV audio is on. -- sleepysurf squeezebox2 (with elpac wm075-1950-760 linear psu) direct to amp, 300gb buffalo linkstation (remote flac audio file storage), sunfire cinema grand 200 ~five (vertically bi-amped) driving martin-logan aerius i's, blue jeans cables.
