I have an iAudio X5 20GB myself and love it. Major points: 1. Supports open formats. 2. Beautiful build quality - no scratches here. 3. Is supported from Windows, Linux, Mac. It is not perfect - the biggest issues are: 1. I get errors on some flac files. I am not sure this is caused by me using beta firmware or using maximum flac compression (--best). 2. Basic interface - there isn't an internal database like iPod and like. I solved #1 by using ogg 256kb instead - 20B is not near enough to waste the extra space flac takes. My squeezebox 2 is fed flac only of course. -- tomsi42 SqueezeBox2, Rotel RC-1070/RB-1070, dynaBel Exact. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tomsi42's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2477 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21370 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
