Ok, then let's say your grandmother routinely builds and sells computer systems :) Basically, I know computers but nothing about audio. I've been reading this forum but, as I said in my first post, a lot of it is over my head. I don't even know what the difference between an amp and a pre-amp is. I have a lot of friends that are looking for a whole house audio solution, and I think Slimserver/Squeezebox would be great for them. I am looking at the Hush mini-ITX fanless PC for a server: http://www.logicsupply.com/product_info.php/cPath/49/products_id/248 and I think the Nokia 777 would make a great remote, thanks to skin designed by bklass and described in this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=19369 . But, once I get the server, wireless network w/ squeezeboxes, and remote set up, what solution do I offer them to bring music to rooms that don't have an existing stereo set up? Thanks to the previous posts and other thread, I guess I'll go with the T-amp. Any recommendations for speakers? -- NWP ------------------------------------------------------------------------ NWP's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3730 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22012 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
