All a weak connection will do will be a potential source for dropouts. 
You may see the display stutter, the remote not able to respond to
keypresses (well, actually, the server may not 'see' them, and/or the
SB may not get the "please do this" from the server) and perhaps songs
stopping or cutting out.

Packets of data either arrive at the other end... or they don't.

It won't make it static, if that's what you mean, not like FM with a
bad antenna.

It should be addressed, though, you want the best reception possible to
reduce the chances of dropouts whenever your microwave turns on.
